Student Events
The Oakdale Community Club provides a variety of fun events for students.
These events are made possible by our dedicated volunteers and sponsors.
halloween class parties & parade
In October, students enjoy a Halloween party in their classroom, including games, crafts, and/or activities. Parties are coordinated by the Room Parents. It's followed by an outdoor parade that parents / guardians are invited to attend to see all of the great costumes.
WINTER ASSEMBLY
In December, students gather during the school day at Oakdale for Winter Assembly. A past assembly was 'Grossology' brought to us by the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. This event is coordinated by the Committee Chair(s).
VALENTINE'S DAY CLASS PARTIES
In February, students have a Valentine's Day party in their classroom, including games, crafts and/or activities. Parties are coordinated by the Room Parents. Students bring a decorated box to collect their valentine cards and treats.
TRIPLE BE
In May, it's Triple Be, which is Oakdale's annual field day and celebration of the students' collective efforts to: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe. This event occurs during the school day at Oakdale, and there are a variety of activities for the students to enjoy, like the hula hoop challenge and bounce house! This event is coordinated by the Committee Chair(s), and volunteers are asked to sign-up.
